Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette โœจ

I know I know… “The sleek highlighter palette came out MONTHS ago, how are you only just trying it!?” Well the only real reason it took me so long was that they simply didn’t stock it in my local shops. And instead of just ordering it like I should’ve done, I waited patiently until my local Boots fiiiinally got some in.ย
But boy oh boy, was it worth the wait! The pigment in the powder is mega intense and if you’re all about the highlight-seen-from-space, then you’ll love this.

The beautiful golden compact contains a big mirror and four pretty highlight shades. One cream, one shimmer and two very intense baked powders. All are decent sized so you can get your brush into the individual powders, or mix them together to create a unique shade. I like to apply my highlight to the usual places, tops of the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose, on the Cupid’s bow and on the inner corners of the eye. And of course you could use it for more than just highlighting, they make beautiful eyeshadows too, and look beautiful applied to the chest and shoulders to add an extra touch of glamour.

The compact has a small powder brush included, though I like to use a fan brush to apply my highlight. The powders apply really nicely, not too chalky or patchy, and you can intensify the colours (not that you’d need to) by applying them wet or with some Fix+.

Over all I think this is a really decent pick from the drugstore, and a steal at ยฃ9.99. It’s a beautiful compact for travelling with, perfect for multi-tasking and will compliment a number of different looks.

As I said I got mine at Boots, but you can get it online at Superdrug or Sleek makeup. โœจ
