Champagne Pop!

So at long last, I did it. I got my hands on Champagne pop. I have no shame in admitting that I am a total cult beauty sheep, and I will try out pretty much anything which seems to be popular in the beauty/blogger world. So of course it was only a matter of time before this gorgeous highlighter, which was a collaboration between Jaclyn Hill and Becca cosmetics, joined my collection. Β Β

Needless to say I have been using it non stop since I got it and it definitely did not disappoint. I’d already tried the Opal pressed shimmering skin perfecter and I love the way that looks on, so I already knew that I would like the formula. But the colour is just so unique and flattering and it’s actually a lot more subtle than I thought it would be, which I think makes it more wearable for day to day, though I like to give it a little spritz before applying so I can be extra glowy!

I definitely heard mixed reviews on this and I’m often a little weary about trusting the opinions of popular vloggers, as they may be sponsored by or affiliated with cosmetic companies, but in my honest opinion I think Jaclyn and Becca did an amazing job on this one and if you’ve been on the fence about trying it, I’d say go for it! I’ve never tried such a beautiful highlight, and there is just something so special about the colour, and finding one which works so well with my medium/dark toned skin is always a bonus.

It’s a little more on the pricey side, I got mine from Space NK (UK) for Β£30, but a little goes a long way and I can tell it’s going to last forever.

I apply mine with a small fan brush, and I think that picks up and deposits just the right amount of product.

Thanks for reading, I hope you had a lovely relaxing weekend and have an amazing week!

Talk soon Xx
