January Glossy box 2016πŸ’•

So we’re kicking off the new year with a brand new Glossy box, filled with 5 goodies to perk up your skin, hair and makeup, and kick off the new year with some new brands and the latest trends.Β

The first box of the year did not disappoint with 4 full sized products and a deluxe travel sample, it really is the “year of more” which is the theme of the January box.

First up we have a full sized bottle of Unani’s Dermo Defence face mask (RRP Β£11.36) which is a herbal based mask designed to protect and hydrate your skin through the winter months. I love a face mask so this is most welcome! Winter skin can be tough to tackle so having a nourishing mask to use once a week can really help to soothe and moisturise and I look forward to trying it out!

Next up we have a full sized Toni & Guy shine gloss serum (RRP Β£7.49) which helps to control frizz and boost shine. You just use this on the ends of your hair and on any flyaways and it just smooths over any frizz and leaves you looking a little less frazzled (as I tend to) the formula is very lightweight and I’m going to try my best to use this stuff regularly as I’m terrible at using any daily treatments on my hair and I’m sure it’d be grateful for some extra attention!

Next we have a luxury size tube of Madara Time miracle Cellular Repair Serum (RRP Β£38 full size). This is an organic serum which claims to rejuvenate, lift, plump and hydrate the skin and is to be used daily underneath your moisturiser. It smells nice and fresh and I really like the way the formula feels on the skin. Whether I notice any plumping or firming I don’t know, but it does feel nice and hydrating and I will definitely continue to use it.

In terms of make up, this month we have the Teez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick in the colour Coral Onyx (RRP Β£11.93) The colour is beautiful and very pigmented, though a little summery, but I can tell I will get lots of use out of it once spring arrives. It’s a matte finish but still feels nice on the lips. The packaging is crazy and I love it!

Last but not least we have the Glossy box Single Eyeshadow (RRP Β£7.10) in the shade Glossy mauve which is a nice smoky grey/purple with a very subtle shimmer. The pigmentation when swatched dry is very good and it applies nicely. I think the colour is universally flattering and will suit most skin tones, and I’m very happy with it.

Over all I really liked this box and thought it had a nice range of makeup, skincare and haircare. I will continue with my subscription as I really think these boxes are getting better and better.

Sorry I haven’t been posting as regularly. It’s been a bit of a crazy few weeks but I hope to get back to it now that we’re finally into 2016.

Thanks for reading lovelies!

Talk soon xx

I’ve been debating adding another subscription service to my already super long list and this might be the one I choose! Excellent list and great post!
