Hello my beautiful followers! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far. I recieved my November Glossybox a couple of days ago and have been having a play around with the products which I’m very pleased with! I feel like Glossybox have really upped their game in the last couple of months and November’s box is no exception.
This month Glossybox subscribers were given the chance to choose which shade of Revlon lipstick they would like to receive in the box. There was a beautiful dark plum, a true red, a coral and a pinky nude. I was torn between the dramatics and the neutrals, but in the end I decided to play it safe (boo!) and go with the pink. Which I must say is very pretty and extremely wearable for day to day activities. Over all the lipstick is hydrating and smooth and comfortable to wear and very easy to touch up throughout the day. This was a full sized product and is worth £7.99 at Boots or Superdrug.
This brand I have heard more and more about recently. Last week I picked up one of their lovely lip tints which has the most beautiful packaging and is a really lovely product. So I was happy when I saw that included in this month’s box was a travel size tube of Royal Apothic body lotion. The packaging is so pretty and this is the perfect size to keep in my bag as a hand cream. The scent is very delicate and the cream absorbs really quickly. Perfect for this season. As I said this was a travel size, but the full size is worth £14.50.
I love trying out new primers as it’s always life changing when you find a decent one. At the moment my favourite is Smooth Affair by Jane Iredale. This lovely one is by Emite Make Up and the interesting thing about it is that it has a peachy tone to it which helps to brighten, illuminate and correct dull, dark or pigmented skin. The diamond heart primer is very lightweight and adds just a touch of radiance to your skin prior to applying foundation. This was just a travel size, and the full size is worth £25.90
How lovely to see a pair of eyelashes included in this month’s box! I go through eyelashes like a mad woman so I’m always grateful to recieve more. These are just very pretty natural lashes to add a touch of glamour without going too dramatic, and I’ve always found eyelure lashes to be good quality and very easy to apply. This was a full sized product and is worth £5.00
So my favourite product in the box is the MUA cosmetics undressed palette. I love their palettes and am always impressed with the quality considering how affordable they are. This palette contains a range of pretty metallics and shimmers, with pretty decent pigmentation. Some are a little crumbly and I’m not wild on the matte shades as they took a bit of building up. But the metallic shades apply very nicely and really are pretty and I imagine on top of a primer they will definitely stand out. This was a full sized product and is worth £4.00
So that was what came in my November Glossybox. It’s so nice to have brands I already know and love included but great to try out others such as Emite. You really do get a variety in these boxes and I already can’t wait for my next one as they seem to get better and better!
Thanks for reading my pretties!
