October favourites 2015 πŸŽ€

Hello honeyyyys! Can we believe it’s November already!? I definitely can’t. It seems so strange to be doing my October favourites already, but this year seems determined to fly by!

This month I’ve been trying to be a little more responsible with my money, which sadly means cutting back on my cosmetic purchases. But I still have a few gems which I have been loving these past few weeks which I shall be sharing with you today!

Morphe Brushes 35 Matte Palette

So I know that the 35O palette has been all the rage this season what with its perfectly autumnal shades and endorsements by the likes of Patrick Starr and Jaclyn Hill. But sadly I haven’t yet been able to get my hands on it! But what I did recently purchase was the 35 Matte Palette. It’s no secret that I’m a matte girl all the way, and I have used this palette every single day since I got it 3 weeks ago. The colours are perfect for layering and building up to create a dramatic or subtle look. And the pigmentation is incredible considering how affordable this palette was. Also shown here is the Morphe Brushes Concealer palette which I’ve been enjoying, though it is a little dry meaning blending can be difficult. But there is a decent selection of colours in there.

Too Faced ‘Your Love Is King’ Love Flushed Blush

Of course this was bound to be featured in my favourites! I mean just look at her! Isn’t she the most beautiful blush you’ve ever seen? I’m seriously in love with this blush, the colour, the packaging the finish. It’s all just too perfect. πŸ’—

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

This is one of those products which I had always seen in stores and being used by beauty gurus and bloggers online but had never really given it a second glance. I picked one up to try while there was a 3 for 2 offer on as I needed to concealer to tide me over until I could replace my Urban Decay Naked Weightless concealer, but there has been no need to go out and get one as I have completely fallen in love with this Maybelline concealer! It’s so lightweight and easy to blend out, but with enough coverage to make you look bright eyed and flawless. I was slightly thrown by the fact that they only have 2 colours to choose from, but I got the colour ‘Nude’ which suits my medium/dark complexion perfectly.

Jane Iredale ‘Smell The Roses’ Hydration spray

So for October Jane Iredale brought out a limited edition pink, rose scented hydration spray to do their part for breast cancer awareness month. And it really is the most beautiful facial spray! It works best with the Jane Iredale mineral foundations as it helps to activate and set the powders. But it’s also a beautiful hydrating spritz for if your skin is feeling a little dry, and needs a little pick me up, especially now that the heating has come on! But I’m in love and I’ll be very sad when I run out!

Jane Iredale Purepressed Mineral Foundation

So this really goes hand in hand with the JI Rose spray, I’ve recently had pretty difficult skin and wanted to try changing what I usually use as it was all getting a little congested. So I decided to go back to basics and  use natural mineral makeup as a foundation for a little while just until things calmed down. My skin has been feeling great since I made the switch! The powder has amazing coverage while the active ingredients in it are good for the skin, and it’s definitely helped improve the appearance of my skin with and without makeup.

Rimmel Lip Liners

Ive always loved Rimmel lip products. And the lip liners are no exception. They now have a massive range of colours and they are just amazing quality for the price. There isn’t a lot to say about these, other than I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a decent drugstore lip liner!

Sleek Blush By 3 Palette

If you’re a fan of face/cheek products, and you haven’t tried the Sleek blush palettes, I suggest you go and do so right now. The range of colours that they do is huge, meaning that there is a palette to suit every skin tone. You get so much product for your money in these and as they are so pigmented, they will last a long time. The powders apply and blend out smoothly and I can’t get enough of the darker berry colours they’ve come out with. Next time you’re in boots or super drug, give them a look!

REN Wake Wonderful Night time Facial & Omega 3 Optimum Skin Oil

These two products have been my saviours this month. They’ve worked wonders to help repair, brighten and balance out my skin, and all while I sleep! REN are an amazing brand who make gorgeous pure and natural products. Definitely check them out if you haven’t already as they’ve helped improve my skin so much over the last couple of years.

Cadbury Highlights Fudge Hot Chocolate

This is such a random one but I cannot lie I’ve been obsessed with this stuff! It’s just the ultimate in comforts at the end of a long day as you’re winding down for the evening. It’s yummy and it’s gorgeous and I love it. And it’s only 39 calories per cup so what are you waiting for!?

Those were my favourites for the month of October! I can’t wait to read about all of yours!

Thanks for reading lovely people! I hope you have a great week.

Talk soon! Xx
