Hello Lovelies!! Today I thought I’d do a post talking about some of the products I’ve been coveting recently, and some that I think would be amazing for the coming months. I don’t know about you, but though I’m more of a summer person, I adore autumn/winter colours and get really excited when it’s time to bring out the dark, bold lips and the vampy colours.
So if you’re wanting to know what I’ll be saving my pennies for over the next few weeks then read on!
I’ve never tried any Morpe Brushes products before, but I know they’ve been so popular recently what with the likes of Jaclyn Hill representing the brand, I saw this palette on Beauty Bay and we all know I’m a big fan on matte eye shadows so this is definitely going on my list of products to try. I Love a palette as you may have guessed, and for £15.95 you get 35 eye shadows which is pretty good value. My one concern with Morphe is that their main ingredients in their shadows are Talc and Mineral oil, which are ingredients I try to steer clear of on my face, but I think I’ll make an exception in this case!!
I cannot get over how cute these are! The little Polly Pocket heart packaging, the little bunny design on the blush, so so perfect! I think this shade specifically would be perfect for the upcoming months because I love a berry toned blush in the winter and this looks so pretty. Right now I’m just waiting for this to be available in the UK as I can’t find anywhere that stocks it! And I know I can order internationally but the delivery rate is just extortionate and I can definitely just wait until it’s available here. If you’re from the UK and you’ve managed to get your hands on these then let me know how you did it because I have serious blush envy right now!
Originally I was thinking that I may invest in the whole contour palette, but when looking through the different shades, I realised the main reason I wanted it was for this banana shade, so seeing as you can actually buy the refill pans individually, it makes more sense just to get the banana powder refill and put it in my z-palette and save myself a few pennies! The main reason I want this is to brighten under my eyes which are just depressingly dark and dull at the moment, and because I’m a sheep and will buy anything YouTube tells me to buy.. but moving on..
I wanted to get this palette back when it dropped last year and unbelievably, I still don’t have it!! This whole thing just calls to me with its dark, vampy, warm, smoky colours, and since autumn/ is rapidly approaching, I know I will definitely make the most of this. Also this is amazing value as you get 9 MAC shadows for £30 which, even though they’re smaller sizes, is insane.
I only own one MAC lipstick which is very sad and I feel like I need to fix this. A friend of mine recently got married and her make up artist used the colour Twig on her lips and it was just the most beautiful natural rosy brown colour and I knew then that I needed it in my life. Ruby woo just looks like it would be a really nice deep red to wear through the winter months, and you can never have too many red lipsticks right!? Especially when the MAC formula is so long lasting and just gives a finish like no other.
I have been using my Real Techniques Miracle Perfection sponge to death lately and I know it’s like a cheaper dupe for the beauty blender, but I just can’t help but wonder what I could be missing. When I’ve seen them used they just look so soft and easy and I just think I would benefit from having one in my collection.
Zoeva Classic Face Brush Set
After falling head over heels in love with my Zoeva complete eye set, I know that I need the face brush set too. The eye brushes have 100% changed the way I apply makeup and improved the over all finish, and it’s been a while since I upgraded my face brushes so it’s definitely time I did, and Zoeva is definitely the way forward.
I’ve wanted a contour brush like this for a while and while initially the beautiful NARS ITA brush appealed to me, the Morphe brush is £11.95 compared with £43 for the NARS. I cannot justify spending that much on one makeup brush. I’ll definitely be trying this out as I think it’s really important to have a decent contour brush, and I’ve heard great things about Morphe brushes.
What products are you dying to try at the moment? Let me know what you’re wanting to try out this season and if you have any thoughts or reviews on any of the products I’ve mentioned then let me know!
