I don’t even want to think about how fast time is flying this year. It’s just insane. I’ve had massive writers block too and I have been away for the last 10 days which is why I’ve not posted for aaaages! So I’m sorry!
Today I will be sharing some of my recent favourites.
So I’ve recently been over indulging in the beauty department. I decided I’d treat myself to a few high end products id been wanting for a while. And I’m so very glad I did (even if my bank account wasn’t so thrilled) because it’s great to have a few extra special bits in my collection and it makes getting ready everyday a little more exciting.
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
I hadn’t tried any products from Too Faced, and I’ve seen this palette all over the Internet and so I finally decided to treat myself to it. I have been addicted to this palette since I got it. The colours are beautiful and there are endless looks to be created. I’ll be doing a more in depth review on it soon because the swatches are to die for!
I recently did a post on this baby, and I’m still loving it. It’s just such a handy little compact to have as it has a lip gloss, the three blushes, a highlight and a bronzer. It’s perfect to travel with as it has almost everything you need and it’s quickly becoming my go to for cheek products!
So if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that my skin perfector arrived in less than perfect condition. However I’ve managed to make it work and I’m slightly in love! It’s the most beautiful highlight and leaves your skin glowing. It just melts into your skin and it’s the most pigmented formula. I wish I could’ve got my hands on champagne pop but I basically refused to spend an extra £20 just to get it shipped to the UK as it’s already pretty pricey to begin with. I support Jaclyn and it’s amazing what she’s accomplished, but I gots bills to pay! Sorry Jaclyn!
Ah! These brushes were on my wish list for quite some time and I finally decided to go for it and ordered the complete eye set. I will absolutely be trying their face brushes because the way these beauties apply makeup is glorious! The bristles are so soft and make blending a dream. It’s so important to have the right tools if you’re wanting a decent applications and I can’t recommend these brushes enough.
This concealer has been my life saver over the last few weeks! It really is si light weight on your skin yet the coverage is amazing. It’s so easy to blend and it subtly highlights while concealing dark circles and redness. If you’ve been on the fence about trying this I’d say just go for it! You won’t be disappointed.
I had needed a new bronzer for quite some time, not one for contouring but just for warming up my skin and adding some sunshine to my face. This bronzer is lovely and it smells divine. The pan is huge so it will last a while and the powder itself is extremely pigmented so you don’t need a lot. It’s one is definitely recommend. I also tried their other bronzer (the one that looks like a brick of chocolate) but I definitely preferred this one.
Id seen this around a fair bit and decided to give it a go. And honestly I had no idea what to do with it when I first got it. I tried it under my foundation but It didn’t do anything. I tried it on top and i didn’t like how it looked. But what I do now is mix it in with my foundation, and the way it looks on your skin is amazing. You just get this beautiful glow. I also love that it makes applying my foundation so much easier and makes it go so much further. And when you’re paying out for a high end foundation, anything to make it go further and last longer is definitely a good thing. Obviously if you like a matte finish on your skin, you may not love this as much as I do. But if you’re about that glow life.. Try it out!
I would definitely say this is a holy grail product for me. Though I wouldn’t say I have acne or anything like that, I definitely have blemish prone skin. And this just helps to heal and prevent breakouts. As its a clay cleanser, it doubles up as a deep cleansing face mask, and who doesn’t love a 2 in 1 product? It’s not the best at removing makeup, but that’s not really its purpose, so I usually will use another cleanser to remove my, many layers, of makeup, then use this to treat my skin.
I apologise for being gone for a little while, but I’ll be better in future! I’ve got lots of lovely bits and pieces to share with you in the coming weeks. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these and what your current favourites are.
Have a lovely week, Dolls!
