Beauty Bay Flawless Rose Palette πŸŒΉ

So I wanted to do a quick swatch and review of this palette for you guys who had seen it mentioned on my last post. I got this palette from Beauty Bay for Β£9.95 after reading some mixed reviews on the site. They have 3 palettes in their range, this one was the flawless rose palette. They are currently offering buy one get one free on all of their own collection so it’s worth having a look!

So here is a better look at the palette, it’s much bigger than I thought it would be, and the packaging is kind of bulky. You get 12 shadows in the palette. Most are satin finishes, there are a couple of matte shades and one shimmer.

On a few of the reviews I had read on the website, it had been said that these shadows don’t swatch particularly well but apply nicely with brushes, and I’d have to agree. It took a while to get some decent swatches for you guys, but when I was using the shadows on my eyes they were much more pigmented. The shadows are a little chalky so I’d definitely recommend using a primer with these. There are one or two shades which are pretty useless and hardly show up but there are 4 or 5 which I absolutely love.

Overall I’d say this is a nice palette if you’re just starting out as it’s not too expensive and you get a good range of colours to play with. I think it’s a nice one to have in your collection. Before I picked this up I didn’t have any pink toned shadows so it’s been fun experimenting.

Head on over to Beauty Bay to read more reviews and have a look at some of their other products.

Thanks for reading loves! Hope you’re having a lovely lazy Sunday πŸ’•
