This is just going to be a quick look at a few bath products I picked up from Lush. Unbelievably, this is my first time buying Lush bath bombs!! Lush are known for their handmade, fair trade luxury bath and body products, and if the gorgeous smells alone don’t do it for you, the way they leave your skin feeling will really leave you wanting more.
So for my first time trying the lush bath bombs, I went for 3 which sounded like they would appeal to me? (I was shopping online and it’s a little hard to tell if you’ll like the smells when you’re reading a list of ingredients!)
I will definitely be purchasing more, though next time I’ll actually go into the store as I think that probably makes more sense! So these are the three that I got this time around with the info they gave on the website..
Rose queen – £2.75
“Whenever you need a little lift, indulge in a Rose Queen bath. Its light, floral fragrance and effect on your bathwater will help you escape to the country, while rose absolute quenches thirsty skin. The bomb is filled with petals including blue mallow, tiger lily, honeysuckle, apple blossom and amaranth flower, which swirl around you in rosy pink water.” I said in my last post how I’m in love with anything with rose. So this looked like a perfect one for me to try. And it’s absolutely beautiful. The rose scent isn’t too overpowering but is just lovely and delicate. The fact that it’s bright pink is just a bonus!
Blackberry bath bomb – £3.25
“As soon as you drop this into your bath, tension is banished as the bergamot and frankincense oils are released. Bergamot is used in aromatherapy for anxiety, depression and nervous tension, and is both relaxing and uplifting as well as antibacterial. You’ll soon feel calmed as frankincense oil helps slow down breathing and induces a feeling of wellbeing.” Bergamot and frankincense are 2 of my most favourite aromatherapy fragrances and so I needed this bomb in my life as soon as I saw it. It doesn’t disappoint. It smells delicious and it is huge! I can’t wait to use this one as I’m sure it’ll be perfect after a long day at work.
Think pink – £2.65
“A relaxing pink bath bomb with a sweet vanilla and tonka fragrance. As it dissolves, you’ll feel as though you’re getting a big hug – you’ll find yourself surrounded by rice paper confetti hearts that slowly melt away. Its sweet scent comes from Fair Trade vanilla absolute, while tonka adds a caramel undertone. Neroli gives it a sunny citrus top note, while lavender clears your mind and makes you feel that life is sweet.” This one caught my eye simply because it just looked so cute!! I love floral scents and with neroli and lavender, this is like spring in a bath bomb.
Which Lush bath bombs and body products would you recommend I try? There are so many I never know what goodies to go for!
Anyway thank you for reading. Hope you’re all having a lovely week so far. Not long until the weekend now!
