Soft curls and dark lips kinda day ❤️

So one of my favourite looks at the moment is the soft curls, soft eye make up and a stand out dark purple or red lip.

For my foundation and concealer I used my Estée Lauder Double Wear to create an even and flawless base, as I like to keep the skin looking as clear as possible when working with darker colours.

For my eyes I used the Urban Decay Naked original palette, and took the two shades ‘Toasted’ and ‘Hustle’ to create a soft smokey eye, bringing the colours under my lower lash line to create balance. I lined my upper lash line using my benefit push up liner to add some definition, and finished with my Loreal Manga eyes mascara in black to lengthen my lashes and open up my eyes.

For bronzer I used Benefit Hoola which is my go to for a soft contoured look and finished with a touch of Elf blush in Blushing Rose on my cheeks.

To get this colour on my lips I first lined them using my Ted Baker lip crayon im a gorgeous dark purple shade which came in a Christmas gift set and filled them in using Revlon’s Colorstay Moisture Stain in ‘Parisian Pass’ which has amazing pigmentation, lasts hours and keeps my lips hydrated.

To curl my hair I used the Remington Pearl curling wand on a low heat, then gently combed through with a wide toothe comb to soften. I added a spritz of Fudge Urban Raspberry and Vanilla hair spray to ensure my curls would hold (and because I’m addicted to how yummy that stuff smells!!!)

My top is from Missguided (as always) and I just love the chain detail around the neck!

I hope you like the finished look. I’m always on the hunt for new red and berry toned lipsticks and blushes so if you have any you could recommend let me know! ❤️
